Fall Field Training Exercise 11/08/2009
High Cliff State Park, Sherwood, WI -- Members from Stevens Point Composite Squadron joined Fox Cities Composite Squadron for their annual Fall Field Training Exercise (FTX) held at High Cliff State Park in Sherwood, WI on Nov 6th, 7th, and 8th. There were more than 27 members in attendance throughout the weekend. Cadets and senior members received instruction in team-building, orienteering, radio direction finding, knot tying, fire making, and other outdoor skills while camping out for two nights. Members also participated in two practice ELT missions to hone the skills they developed during the weekend. Although the main concentration was on Emergency Services training, there was plenty of time for members to socialize and interact with each other. One of the biggest hits of the weekend was the capture the flag game played at night with glow sticks. Even senior members got into the fun! CommentsLeave a Reply |
